MARK O'KANE
Managing Director
Mark started MOK Constructions in 1997 and has worked in Victoria’s Construction Industry since 1992 when he completed a Bachelor of Building degree.
Marks qualifications are: B. Building, Registered Building Practitioner, Registered Building Inspector, Member Master Builders Association of Victoria, and Member Civil Contractors Federation of Victoria. 20 Years experience
MATT SMYTH
General Manager
Matt joined MOK Constructions in 2006 after working for some of the largest construction companies in Victoria.
Matt’s qualifications are: BA (Architecture), B. Building, Certificate IV – OHS, Registered Building Practitioner, Member Master Builders Association of Victoria, and Member Civil Contractors Federation of Victoria.
Notable previous employers; Multiplex Project Manager, Becon Constructions Project Manager, Decco Australia Project Manager.
RACHEL PALMER
Systems Manager
Rachel has been with the company since 2005. Rachel has an accounting background and has run her own successful business before joining MOK Constructions. Principally her roles within our business are contract administration and systems compliance.
RICHARD BESWICK
Project Manager
Richard joins MOK having worked previously on some of the largest civil infrastructure projects in Western Australia during the recent Mining Boom.
Notable projects include the Sino Citic Cape Preston Mine , Hope Downs Mine Site Rail Upgrade and Port Hedland Roy Hill dredging project.
Richard has a Diploma in Project Management , First Aid, and plant operator tickets .
JOHN O'KANE
Logistics
John has owned and operated a logistics operation for over 30 years. Now over 60 he does less of the hands on and instead overseas the daily movement of heavy plant and equipment between sites across Victoria and NSW for MOK . He ensures all National Heavy Vehicle Regulator guidelines for oversize and overweight permits are current and up to date for transformer transport and that plant and site facilities are serviced and maintained in accordance with our environmental and ISO safety certifications. He has a multi-combination heavy driver’s license with additional mass accreditation thus enabling our quad low loaders to carry in excess of 50 tons.
STEVEN POTTER
Civil Coordinator
Steven started working with MOK Constructions in 2005 as a concretor/civil worker. Over the years Steven has moved through the ranks to now act as our supervisor on civil construction works. Part of Stevens duties include ensuring quality work is produced and on-site Health, Safety and Environment.
